Another important factor for us are the parallel events, especially the visits to the private collections as they enable us to see what´s being collected in Puerto Rico. It´s very surprising to see the international focus of most of the Puerto Rican collections -from Murakami, to Hirst and Do-Ho Suh-, without neglecting the presence of local artists like Melvin Martínez or Charles Juhasz. So, it´s a nice balance."
